Missouri being a red state is lacking in all funding for low income residents. We also spend less on students per year than almost every other state. As a resident of Missouri I see it everyday.

Interesting. Something like the 23 of the 25 states receiving the most in federal aid are republican led states too. In California there's a massive disparity between democratic led areas and republican led areas. Montana, is something like 4rth in the top ten most federally dependent states.

That doesn’t make sense to me. I can argue they contribute more to the US than they take, but there’s simply no way that Texas and Florida don’t have more revenue than pretty much every blue state on this map, with the exception of California.
