Democrats, keep holding townhalls in red spaces. Our Republican Reps do not come home. They do not speak to us. They do not care about us. I know this, but I need my Republican neighbors to realize it. Come talk to them. Show them. Reach them. Rural Dem organizers on the ground can help.

While I support this & think it's helpful, I also think we're in the middle of an *emergency* & this is more of a long-term project. Converting red state rurals to blue will take at least *a generation* before significant numbers are on board. Too many petty media-fueled grievances to overcome.

People this is a great opportunity for the Democrats to get out & meet the people & see what is important to the electorit. Learn about their concerns on e.g. Cost of Living, low wages, unfair corporate fees, & drug costs. More items? Then begin to talk about how Democrats work on those things.
This is the way to go since the Republicans have been essentially told not the whole Townhall meetings because they know who’s gonna show up and try to hold them accountable. The Democrats should, and that will build a substantial base for the midterms.
