Politician should be required to hold 4 town halls a year. If they can not hold 4 a year as a job requirement then they shouldn’t be able to run again. There must be accountable and recourse.

In my opinion, one of the worse mistakes the Founders made was not putting term limits on the house. I guarantee they never thought people would stay 30-40 years in office. 2 years they thought was as long as a member of the "People's House" could stay away from their farms and businesses.

Bergman, from Michigan’s District 1, does the same. He has property in Michigan but claims he and his wife are snowbirds in Louisiana. This is a very rural district, and like other rural areas, keep voting Republican because they throw the electorate a bone by mentioning trans people.

I think Town Halls should be mandatory at least once a year for everyone in Congress (including Senators). People who don’t hold one should be FINED at least $50k. The $ should come out of their campaign or personal funds. The money would go to a food bank in that person’s district. This would work
