That is how Florida went from purple to red. People have gotten tired of the fight. Every day it is a slog but you keep trying. If not what happens to the next generation? Does the racism and hate just become institutionalized? The actual solution is more liberal leaning folks moving to red states.

It is hard and uncomfortable for sure- but it is the only way real change is sustainable. Part of FL slide has been folks abandoning it for more liberal environments and more rabid right wingers moving in. The amount of growth here is not from births. It is from people with hateful views moving in.

How do folks in poverty “maybe move?” Many folks live in red states because they’re poor. Also, how does moving all the blue voters into blue states help the electoral college problem?

How convenient it would be to just up and move. Minus the financials, I would have to go to court to get permission to move out of state because of my kids otherwise I'm kidnapping them per the custody agreement.

I think the point is: Red states need to wake the f up and stop voting against their own interests. They are inflicting their own suffering on themselves - how much will it take until they get it???

Their children enlist in the Military at lower rates. It's us Rural & Small town folks who, conflict after conflict, send our children to sacrifice. Enough of that crap.
