The problem is that technically the debt gets bought by a whole bunch of foreign countries who rely on the U.S. behaving itself, but as soon as things start to look bad, they sell off their shares in the debt and that’s when the shit hits the fan.

Except of course that the debt is ALREADY owned by the GOP. Well over 80% of the National Debt was run up by Republican spending and tax cuts for the wealthy. This is just a mathematical fact. Hell, 25% of the entire national debt accrued over 250 years was run up by Trump in his first term alone!

The debt has been on Republicans since the first big tax cut by Reagan. It was then compounded by Bushjr's tax cuts, then again by Trump's prior cuts. The current debt is totally on Republicans. Americans have to know this.
