Not yet anyway. A constitutional amendment guaranteeing abortion rights until fetal viability was approved by voters but gop trying by hook and by crook to cheat the voters will and just take what they want by brute bully force.
Same thing is happening in Ohio. We voted for a state constitution amendment to protect the right to abortion, but the GOP here decided the will of the people in this matter was "evil," and is therefore trying to pass a fetal personhood bill.

I worked in an industry that white folks never wanted to look at, tanning. The work was too hot, too strenuous, too heavy, too filthy, and just too low class. The work force was eastern European (post WW2), Black and Hispanic. Some industries, such as meatpacking, will never be white again. 1/
I toured slaughterhouses, going back 45 years ago. Even in the most rural towns, meat packing had large Hispanic work forces. Trying to get white folks into those jobs is like trying to find white people to do large scale farm work, from milking to crops. It is never going to happen.

I read an article about ppl in very small districts getting threatened with arrest for allegedly not living in the district, when they did in fact live there. That they target Dems in those areas and purge them routinely. When I lived in Houston I saw ppl being denied voting and I told them 1/
2/ myself they could request a provisional ballot and by law the poll worker (who shot me a nasty look) had to give it to them. The poll worker had just kept telling them they weren’t listed and couldn’t vote. Then the over policing and criminalization of black ppl, preventing their votes.
