Companies are not going to eat the tariffs just because the orange says so. Companies will pass along their cost increases to their consumers. That is capitalism. When everything (including food)goes up 20+ % in price, consumers will notice. The clock ticks when 90% Americans will notice & be angry.

have a friend who thinks she won’t have her business if a democrat was in office to leave to her family. She doesn’t see the correlation between the cost of her products, the tariffs and 47. She’s going to be in for a rude awakening soon. I wonder how it will be spun. Out of business 2025 my guess

Jess, make no mistake, Trump knows he is adding taxes that will increase costs for every person who buys products. He and Republicans will redistribute the wealth from the bottom up. They collect a national sales tax (tariffs) then gives it to the those who are at the top.

Ya, and the scrap of tax relief to those receiving tips, Big Bloated Bill (Republican Tax Law) is a hell of a long way from helping workers who don’t receive tips, about 90% of workers won’t see it.
