I have. They won’t.

Go to a different pharmacy/use an online one and just claim you have no insurance.
The only way around this is to buy from Canada or Mexico. It's totally bizarre that it's the case.
There are programs used in healthcare that are run to verify if a person has insurance or not. It's run with every encounter. There is no longer a way to lie your way into a lower cost.
Darn! You know I would ask @mcuban.bsky.social about this. His Cost Plus pharmacy, ask Mark if they run a snitcher program at his pharmacy. Where they check to see if you have insurance or not.
2/2 That appointment is crazy expensive at approx. 3k every 3 months. I have 3 health insurance plans, and I STILL have to come out of pocket for a portion of that.
Keep in mind that Ms. Piper said she has a procedure at that cost. Depending on what it is, it will affect the cost involved. I'll use myself as the example. I get botox for migraines, so the medicine is one cost, and it has to be done by my neuro team. 1/2
For prescriptions, have you tried CostPlusDrugs?
That is infuriating! Every practice I've been to has been happy to offer the cash option when asked. I'd lose my shit if they said no, especially if the cash option was cheaper!
