The problem is, it will be targeted at minorities and women and people marginalized groups.

Yes I definitely agree. I just think once Republicans clear the way to take away guns rights from some groups it will lead to dems blacking assault rifles for all groups.

And the Dem rules will be overturned by SCOTUS. Remember, they do not act in good faith and are unconcerned with consistency or precedent.
