The Democratic leaders in Biden's White House had the chance to slow or stop the Twitter purchase; they could have gone on the public attack against Murdoch and Fox; they could have gotten a reformer in at FCC. They did none of these. They didn't care about media. It was a massive error.
Everyone in the White House 2020-2024 that set legal or political strategy should be made persona non grata in all Democratic planning and campaign circles going forward. They all erred catastrophically. They didn't have a strategy to deal with media. Now we are here. There should be consequences.

Being in Canada I used to watch CNN quite a bit, but not anymore. Between the change in what/how the news is reported & Jake Tapoer using it as his own personal book promotion channel it has clearly gone down the toilet.
Yeah, but failure to use elected power to stem the tide of right-wing media bullshit predates Biden by more than 2 decades.
