Doc said I'm prediabetic and to "cut excess sugar", no other instructions. Figured since I was already eating/drinking a lot of low and no sugar anyway, maybe something wasn't working so looking for healthier options.

OK. There are reported problems with artificially sweetened and other low-calorie, low-fat foods. I have had a LOT of bad advice on diabetic diets. The stuff that works for me is cooking for myself, using whole ingredients, not pre-packaged or refined stuff. Good luck!
Yeah that's my uninformed thought. Maybe I'm drinking too much of whatever Coke uses or it still affects me negatively. So, questing to find non sweet stuff I can snack on. 😁 Thanks.
Oddly, certain fresh fruit works well for me in moderation. If you are familiar with "glycemic index" and "glycemic load", use those! If not, Google or -- better -- DuckDuckGo is your friend. 😉
I started using StartPage in my move away from Google. I bumped into that when looking up if honey counted and it hurt my brain. I'll have to edumacate meself if it turns out what I'm doing aren't working.
Honey is actually more risky for diabetics than plain table sugar, although it has other health benefits. I suggest finding a web page that has tables of glycemic index and glycemic load numbers for different foods. You'll figure it out. Not everybody needs to know the science. :)
Cool. Thanks.
