Fun Gun Fact(s): Guns are only useful for damaging/killing. They literally serve no other purpose. They have a binary state. Unloaded and not firing at something or loaded and firing at something. Rifles are actually way less dangerous than pistols, as an aside, but I digress

unfortunately or fortunately for some, the founding fathers didnt mention AR-15s and machine guns, since they didnt exist yet. still, i believe that it should be a right to bear arms. in fact, i would urge people to carry more to defend themselves or better yet, stand against a shooter if it happens

I understand the desire and I think movies have done everyone a disservice by romanticizing guns. In reality you are more likely to have an accident and shoot a family member rather than any bad guy. We have pews, but they are all locked, our dogs have always been home protection and scare most folk

No, that’s not at all the suggestion. A dog would make your home less desirable, without the lethality to your family. 60% of people with a weapon take their own life. Buy one and train. Police only hit their target 18% of the time. H/P I would use my shotgun, but my 2 Doberman mean no one gets in.

We have a problem in this country with police being collectively the least trustworthy people in our society. They’re armed with these weapons. As long as the worst people in our country can get a cop job and one of those weapons, regular people need access too.
