One week ago, thousands of New Yorkers tried something new. They heard about it last minute. They didn’t know where it would take them or who they would meet. It was free, earnest, even educational. It was the #ZcavengerHunt and it was a thing of beauty.
We haven’t had a mass school shooting in the UK in my lifetime. We have the same issues regarding mental illnesses, etc… as the US does. The difference? Gun laws. Saying “it’s not the guns” is total bullshit.
The real epidemic? Over 80% of school shooters are young men who steal guns from family members but they'll never talk about toxic masculinity, childhood mental wellness, childhood abuse, childhood bullies ,childhood PTSD or gun access because that doesn't serve their hate agenda.
