One thing that must keep in mind--when it comes to sanctioning Russia, its not a case of Trump doing a TACO. He never intended to sanctions Russia and wants to deal with Putin--and does not care about Ukrainians being killed. He is doing what he wants--not chickening out.

Trump and Putin are birds of same flock: they will attack those who they perceive weak and cozy up with those who they perceive strong.
Everything to trump is transactional. He has no principles, morality or historical knowledge. The US is now no longer the leader of the free world but a money grubbing untrustworthy bully, with no qualms about losing old allies. Trust is hard gained but easily lost, and Trump has only started.
