Back in college, my band did covered Leave It. We stripped all the subtlety out and played it as a straight rocker. Like what Yes did to Simon & Garfunkel’s America but in reverse. We were hoping it’d be like DEVO’s cover of Satisfaction. We did not have the same intrigue as a court of kings.

wait, there was subtlety in "Leave It"? The best thing about 90125 is that it's not as bad as Big Generator. tiny me loved 90125, though: so much so I plotted out the cover art on my home computer

My brother and I once did a Weird Al-esque parody called "Leave it to Beaver." It was as lame as you can imagine. We really didn't have "doot-doo-doo" mojo either.
