I think it dates back to the Revolutionary War, and people continue to talk about the fear of the government rising up. Still after 250 years. The evolutionary process is slow. Not sure how much arsenal a regular citizen would even need to fight against their weaponry.

If that's the case where are the militia where the fascist in the WH is concerned?

The 2A came about because: a) colonials didn't want standing armies, such as K George had in their communities; b) they hated being taxed to fund armies. That's why it's tied into *regulated* militias. The militia could be called out and everyone could bring their own musket.

If the government is being fully deposed and is after you in a serious way and they suspect you have an arsenal in your house they would just use a drone. There would be absolutely nothing for you to shoot at before you get turned to dust. It's just a fetish and cultish mindset.

One thing I learned from the Ukraine invasion, the number of guns won’t help you. Most invaders die without ever even seeing the defenders. And if you somehow survive the first attack, another is coming soon after.

A person can only fire one gun at a time and not 50. At that point it has nothing to do with protection. If someone owns a ton of guns it's an obsession and a sickness.

I have a conservative roommate, and work with other conservatives. The running theme that they use as an excuse for having that many firearms, is to arm their friends and family “when it’s time.” My roommate says that he isn’t really concerned with what Trump is doing, but if the government

I might be a masochist. Not really, but I moved in with him over 5 years ago, and at the time he seemed more normal. As time went on though the mask came off. If things weren’t so expensive to live on my own, I would have moved out at least a couple years ago. I’m trying to save up to buy a house

I understand this. We need a happy medium instead of all or nothing solution. Guns are needed, even outside of hobby, home defense, animals, etc... but not for mass shootings of humans.
