I’m not on Facebook these days, but I see it. I think there’s still plenty of it among suburban and rural folks. But I feel like the people who choose peninsula life despite its various downsides can imagine why people would want to be able to ride a bike, even if they themselves don’t.

I experience more negativity on the peninsula than I do anywhere else, but obviously those drivers could have driven in from anywhere.

Yeah, the majority-supportive people I notice are all the pedestrians, not the drivers.

mostly cabbies somehow feeling victimized because they’re the ones parked in the bike lane

Where else are they supposed to pull over and have a nap? (Why are they always sleeping?)
