Ward is def not a theater term but I feel like it’s really common for the student council to have a president? Ours has the usual officer titles. Maybe I’m not understanding the reference.

At first I thought it was just referring to the president, but I got confused when it was obviously being used as a plural ("the presidency will meet at 3, and the rest of the student council will join at 3:15"). I asked my friend who grew up here and she had to tell me it was an LDS term.

They call the president, VP, historian, all together the presidency. You can run for student council presidency, and that means any of the three leadership positions. It's based off the LDS First Presidency share.google/N8EQ3Zg1JStl...
