Well, you have to play in control. But that’s just not “with brutality” or “endangering the safety”. He just catches him a bit on the follow through. Terrible, terrible call.

No, it’s Nouhou’s responsibility to control his body during a challenge. But Nouhou didn’t go in studs up, either. He got ball and lightly got the guy on a follow through. It’s a yellow. Definition of reckless. Shame on the VAR. Very CONCACAF.
