I built my aeroplane (CFM Streak Shadow, 1994). Its first flight was from a cricket pitch (130m x 170m), with the designer at the controls. I’ve got nearly 800 hours logged, and I’m sure I couldn’t get in there repeatedly, and wouldn’t even attempt it except in an emergency.
Yeah, this one is 3800' x 100', so thankfully enough room for how bad us students give it a beating lol. She's a bit at the beginning, too!
