Naah, just a me thing. I have wood boards and love them, but I never ever ever put poultry on mine. It's impossible to sanitize no matter how well kept. Cheap plastic boards are available at any restaurant supply shop and who can't use a few extra cutting boards anyway?

I will almost always add hot sauce to my rice dishes, even though I generally spice them. His jambalaya was spiced just right and didn't need any extra.
