Simple example is this - if an admin were to suggest to entirely cut WIC or SNAP - it would be wrong of me not to share information about things that might stop it from doing so in a course that teaches food equity and food policy. I’d have to share the protest info.

(Taking in your other reply) - the line seems tough to define, ya? We agree I can say RFK Jr is going to kill people, explain why, and talk about how everything he says is a disaster for public health. We agree I can teach about DHHS and how they are killing people with current choices...

..we agree I can say “this policy is coming from these reps, and this is a consequence of it”. I’m sure we agree I can talk about events that relate to these current policies. Is the issue “I am going along”? Even if students knew I would anyways?

I guess I need help understanding where the line from “This group is protesting this policy that hurts what our field does, and having an event this day” and “this is happening on our campus this day” and “this is happening on our campus and I’m going to check it out and be there”.
