They wanted this to happen. It isn't ignorance after this long. They knew. They all knew. They were totally cool with terrible things happening to other people.

Yeah, they were definitely okay with terrible things happening to other people. The same thing happened in Nazi Germany. It's how they justify it. But they won't admit it. They would rather cry ignorance than accept responsibility.
