Good bye Facebook.
Ditto.
Another bad move on fb's downward spiral. I am using it less and planning a total exit. Hard to leave family and sports connections, but it's propping up the evil.
I’ve been going through my photos to make sure I have copies on my computer. I’ve been on Facebook since 2010; and the quality of the platform has seriously declined in that time. I see little sense in continuing with it, though I will miss the community of friends I’ve established there.
In recent months, it’s become clear that they no longer care about imposter accounts, the spread of misinformation (aka lies), and their users’ privacy. Why should I care about another stupid big business?
I've been considering leaving FB for a while. This has helped me make the decision. Zuckerburg has basically said "this platform welcomes disinformation and hate speech," and the only (polite) answer is "bye-bye!"
