I don’t think he really cares what his base thinks of him, but he does care about the damage to his perceived wealth credibility with other power brokers because he’ll be exposed as just a lowly money mule.

But without their support, how will he get that 3rd term... I don't actually think he thinks at all.

yeah, we’ve seen how strong the Constitution has been so far with this Supreme Court. His death will be a stronger antidote to a 3rd term.

As long as there is a way to spin it, they will eat it up. Normal people don’t care about political party (because we’re not in a cult), and we would want to see justice regardless.

It’s not what’s in the files that trump is scared of. The evidence that maxwell has withheld and probably has secure with friends and family, and/or lawyer - and is probably the only thing keeping her alive - is what he’s worried about. You don’t pardon someone like her unless you have to.

He didn't pardon Maxwell. A rule was waived, and she was sent to a nicer prison. He can't be prosecuted for what's in the files, per the deal that was made with Epstein.
