I wish more people could understand that what is really at stake in politics is just “how exactly are we going to throw a fit due to our impotence regarding capital?”

The State has only ever had power over what it officially allows people to do, it’s always been subservient to capital. This makes sense of the recent Trump comments on slavery. Abolition was the State giving up its control of human labor so that capital can have full control via wage labor.

Now the State, in its fascist turn back against both capital and the people, is saying “actually we want that total control back”
