Nice one @brandondonnelly.bsky.social! I appreciate your optimistic tone. It's so easy to get caught up in what could have been or what's not perfect, rather than celebrate concrete achievements and what that means for the future.
Did these proposed zones come from the city first? I'm mostly curious if this is a project that results from Mayor Chow (or I guess Tory, if it took a long time) or if the provincial government actually proactively did something good for a change lol
The city says it’s the province that is leading this. Up to the municipality to take advantage of it. Not going to complain. My #TorontoDanforth riding has at least 7 of these zoned area. Hard to fathom local elected reps making that a proactive goal. bsky.app/profile/city...
