When I wrote that comment it wasn't targeted at every Floridian. Just the right wing extremists, it was right after I had heard Florida banned the Diary Of Anne Frank, a book that is required reading for nearly every student on earth. Countries stopped banning books centuries ago. Not Florida.

Yeah, of course, but Florida just re-elected DeSantis in a landslide just three years ago. And wasn't that after he had just been humiliated on the national stage? And statistically, Florida is one of the worst states in the US and their educational standards are falling rapidly.
