Well no, here’s the thing man, I’ve hated this man since about 2018. I let a lot go at first, because bad policy is not the same as fascism. His first term there were lots of nods but nothing overtly passed what Americans are used to. Just bad policy. Initially this time? Mainly just bad policy. (1)
Then they went ahead and started taking peoples families, and sending them to camps in other countries. Then they started targeting legislation towards elections. When they started arresting the competition without cause, suspending due process… now we aren’t a democracy. Now is time. Before was not

Which seems like you are saying he wasn't fascist and then its bad policy which I would say he was sliding into fascism back then, then mostly bad policy which no he called immigrants animals, he basically quotes mein kampf and so on so forth. Point is he was fascist during the campaign.
Since you posted three times I think its fair I did. It was not bad policy it was Fascism. Trying to say trans people shouldn't be in their respected bathrooms is Fascism. Calling immigrants animals is Fascism, Hell taking part in to quo is Fascism. People should have realized all this in 2020.
And as far as realizing it all in 2020 I agree, but again most of his first term to the average person that’s not tuned in, just said “oh that’s just bad policy, not fascism” because until the insurrection itself, it wasn’t in your face enough. Americans are self centered 🤷🏽♂️
Entirely fair! I’m not saying he was not fascist then he was. I’m saying the perception of the American public is finally shifting because initially people could chalk things up to “this is bad policy but we could vote him out” and now it’s overt.

Exactly. Yea it’s all about perception, the American people now perceive a clear threat. Sucks it had to get here but that’s what happens when you have an undereducated population
I just hope once this is all over and one day it will be over, people don't vote for someone like Trump again or even JD Vance. Because I fear the people who realize Trump is bad will vote for JD Vance or someone slightly worse. But, for now I'll just hope.
Truly the way I see this going, is they’re going to keep pushing to be more violent and aggressive. They want military in major cities. It’ll be deeply unpopular for all but about 30-40% of the American public, and within that 30-40, about half aren’t going to want to die for him, for sure.
The concern I currently have, is the lack of alternative. This, inevitably, will result in revolution, the scale and level of violence is ultimately going to depend on how they try to wrangle control from the public the angrier we are. It’ll collapse. Dems are no where near prepared to govern after
Lack of alternative is something I fear as well. Its either spineless dems that are also becoming more transphobic versus what I've been calling the Nazi party. I personally have no clue what will happen. But, I hope dems wake up before its to late.
