It's amazing. If we don't let them have 1/2 billion-a billion guns (rough estimate of when they may be happy), they're gonna run over us with their cars...even more than they already are.

It's bizarre. I think they feel violence is just going to happen like thunderstorms do so you can't really do anything about it. I don't accept that hopefully most people don't either.

The US, en masse, has accepted the >40K humans each year dying in automobile crashes. We have become inured to this violence. I think for many, it's the same with guns -OR- they prioritize 2nd amendment rights over the "sanctity of human life" they will talk about out the other side of their mouth.
