Ad hominem insults, tone policing, irrational knee-jerking that has zero relation to the actual content of what a Democrat said or did. That's 99% of the "criticism" I see. Rarely see people making actual serious, well-thought-out statements of things substantially wrong with what was said or done.
It makes me think that Trump Derangement Syndrome was an "every Republican accusation is a confession". Because a whole lot of reactions to Democrats comes off as more like a Two Minutes Hate session than actual fact-based logical criticism, while criticism of Trump typically has more substance.

I think TDS was a projection and people actually essentially have Democrat Derangement Syndrome. Not even that controversial a take, IMHO, since things like Murc's Law and the "Fuck Democrats" flowchart meme are essentially people calling out various manifestations of the derangement.
And I feel the reaction to people like Schumer and Jeffries, or numerous double standard attacks on Biden, also lend credence to this. There's certainly nothing reasonable about the reactions I noted. It genuinely reads like Two Minute Hate, not constructive concerns about what they actually said.

I followed you because I checked out your page and it looks like we probably agree on over 90% of the issues. The broader debate about when and how it’s acceptable (if at all) for leftists/progressives/liberals to criticize Dems has caused more division than the criticism itself. It’s crazy.

Two things can be true at once. Does that offend you? What should I do? Just heap uncritical praise on Schumer for doing what appears to be the bare minimum in the current political environment (hold up appointments)? Where was this approach with Trump’s cabinet? Look what RFK has done to the CDC.
Yeah, you should give praise where it's due. Especially since this isn't the "bare minimum", as that would wrongly imply there's a meaningful stronger reaction. And the Republicans had 51 votes to pass Trump's cabinet regardless. So there's zero approach that could be taken to prevent it.
I really cannot comprehend why people have this literally insane thing where they intentionally make Democrats a minority, and then get mad when Dems can't do anything since we intentionally denied them seats. Conversely, if we didn't want Republican cabinet picks, why did we give them a majority?
We all knew ahead of time it'd be difficult to impossible for Democrats to get to block cabinet appointments if we gave Republicans a majority, because of both the math and because we know Repubs rarely meaningfully contest or block each other. So we didn't want that situation, why did we do it?
