Have they EVER produced a US citizen who really, really wanted that slaughterhouse job but went home in anger and tears because they gave it to an immigrant?

Well actually there was a time when American citizens did do this work. Just not in your lifetime.

My parents and cousins worked in the firlds and they were not first generation immigrants. We have been here since the 1600's . Quite a few generations. Just how young are you?

Is “firlds” a special kind of slaughterhouse I’m not aware of? The post you responded to cited slaughterhouses, not fieldwork.

No just bad typing. Fields, feel better. Well my family were farmers and they slaughtered their own animals, it might not be a slaughterhouse but it's still slaughter. Anyway I'm just saying that a lot of Americans through several generations did everything including slaughterhouses.

I know right? They could hire Americans now, but don't. It's always the employer who skates.
