Well to be honest I was young most of the trips so they were all family goings, now that I actually have the means and the ways to go on my own trips (money and driver's license) I'm leaving the country lol so I don't know how much I can say or how valid my opinions are

Plus I've lived in Utah all my life here so the things that are striking to me are very different than for other people probably

I am surprised by queer people existing publicly with flags everywhere and also the smell of weed and piss and also bars

Las Vegas is different over there it smells more like cigarettes than anything

Sacramento was nice it's very historical and they seem to emphasize that

It's definitely a lot more relaxing of a place

Los Angeles is big and crazy and it surprised me that there's billboard ads and such everywhere for like movies and TV shows which I had never seen before and it's also so multicultural it's flashy but also dirty

I went to this vegan Ethiopian restaurant once over there it was great and there's also the pier every time I went to southern California I went to the pier because like it's the fucking pier you cant not go to pier y'know

But yeah very basic touristy stuff

Noo, that’s fine! Was it the Santa Monica pier? That area is actually really nice. It’s where i was when i went to the Getty villa! Generally though, lots of LA, at least imo, is kind of run down. There’s lots of poverty both in the people, and businesses, and then everything is concrete and spread

Yeah yeah the big long pier with the sign that you take the picture at and the restaurant at the end and all the artisan tourist businesses in the middle with the buskers and the souvenir shops at the start and there's a little theme park too but I never went to that part and there's a bubba shrimp

Last time I went my Mom and I wanted to go to the Getty museum but we didn't get to sadly wah

Yess, that’s the Santa Monica pier I think! It also the area that’s always catching on fire every summer 😭

apart. It can feel kind of bleak. The entire Cali coast is beautiful though.
