I defer to you on matters mechanical because you're very good at it. It's a privilege to hang out with people who love what they do no matter the topic.

They're scared of intelligence, confidence or both?
I possess neither in great volume.
This person seems to think you do. People seem to think I do too though so... 🤷♂️
Its fine, I'm just incredibly dense.
"You're so dumb you don't even know how smart you are" is how I put it.
Whats the worst mecha you've ever seen? Like a design so terrible it has an anti aesthetic and would be a death trap to pilot.
PMX-002 Bolinoak Sammahn. Its the worst aspects of the NRX-044 Asshimar's general layout and the RMS-154 Barzam with none of the functionality or charm of either. There's a reason why its the only design in Zeta never iterated or succeeded upon. It looks like its from a budget 2001 MTV music video
The GNX-704T Ahead and GNX-704T/AC Ahead Sakigake are also genuinely hideous.
Honestly, aside from the GN-X, A-Laws have some ugly MSes.
The Ahead looks like something out of Alien Force (pejorative)
Good god it looks like something Doctor X from those 1990s Action man promos would pilot.
pretty much. i don't feel you can be as good at mecha studies as you are without being intimidating. in fact if you weren't intimidating, i'd be kinda worried
Youre also very blunt.
May the force be mass times acceleration, divided by the total area. Being blunt helps.
OH HEY completely random battletech question i keep meaning to ask: What's your favorite Inner Sphere mech and why? Does it vary by era?
Centurion, apoc CN9-ON (LGD) (substitues AC/10 for LB-10X-AC and one snubnose PPC in right arm, second in torso slot. Employing proper deflection, the shield is incredible if the mech is tuned for mobility paperdoll. Works best if you know how to coordinate with lancemates (human or cpu).
🌕 blackjack rules, love mega machinegun builds
👀
you know what you talk about, have strong opinions, and are assertive. Girls like us melt for this
I think me and a couple other people have tried to tell you this a good few times now, yeah.
Yeah! While I think she could do with being a tiny bit more approachable on these things, the fact that she *can* basically come up with a full academic paper about a gundam on the fly or whatever is legit amazing and I think everyone recognizes that, even while being intimidated.
One of the few people where I, an incredibly confident talker in most social scenarios with my peers, am eager to be the listener. Amazing thing she is, ain’t she?
awhh
In my case, I'd love nothing more than ask you a million questions and Absorb the Knowledge, but I don't want to come off as creepy or bothersome
You're fine?
I know. Hopefully the feeling goes away!
