Genuine: as an American I can point to a lot of good with the bad and say “xyz is what America means to me”. Do you feel a similar way about the UK?

Of course I do. I don't however euphemize fascism with a flag that no longer represents the nation.

Ah yes yes, my question is not a “turning this around on you”. It’s more of a tangential “I personally never thought about this before”. What do you identify as good in the UK? I imagine it includes things like early banning of slavery.
