I feel this 😂
I am fucking losing my mind today 😭😭😂😂
I've been shooting more animals than landscapes lately, resulting in getting home and opening up the shots I'm excited to edit and finding that I missed the focus by a smidge about half the time. It's making me nuts
That’s where I am too. I usually just use Lightroom. Now I’m moving around in LrC and their Topaz denoising tools because the landscapes that I shot can’t have ANY GRAIN AT ALL. White Pocket is too pretty for this. And I shot at 400 ISO. 😭
I caved and bought topaz also. I'm still determining where my tolerance is for its AI results, but it does impressive work.
Did you get it through LRC or did you just pay the 199 and be done with it?
I just paid for it. Right now I'm using it as a plugin near the end of my edit workflow
Wait- when you say plug in, you mean that you edit in LrC, get a finished product, and then run it through Topaz as a totally separate app? You’re not using it in LrC at all?
Yes? I do all my cropping, lighting and color corrections in LRC, then shoot it over to topaz if I need to denoise or "fix" the focus. Primarily because the TIF that topaz shoots back doesn't interact with LRC exactly the same way the original RAW file does.
Would you mind running a shot of mine through it? I’m still on the fence about this and the trial version won’t let me actually save and see what I’m trying to do.
Yeah I can do that. I shot some bunnies (with my canon!) this morning that I'll be editing later.
Makes sense.
