The felon said you don't have to vote. I have enough votes. Elon said machines were easy to hack and that he helped Trump win the election! There were bomb threats! And there is no way that Trump won all seven swing States. Paxton thanked Elon for fixing the election.

That’s a different conversation. Honestly, I do think it strange - I thought it improbable as the results came through. However, it’s impossible to keep a secret of that magnitude & so, were it fixed, I think we’d know. The more horrific truth is the phenomenon we call in the UK, “the shy tory…”

…voter”. By which we mean a voter who’ll vote conservative but lie about it when polled. My suspicion is that you are a nation of shy fascists. And so they lied to pollsters, etc., but, when they heard that dog whistle, they couldn’t wait to vote hard right. But I could be wrong. It was suss.

It's insulting that you are insinuating we are fascist. I guess all of us protesting & trying to change what is happening doesn't mean anything? We have racists and pedophiles in this country just like other countries. As a whole people here are decent & good. The bad ones need to be locked up.

I don't think it's meant as an insult Renee. More like frustration, which of course is the same for some of you guys. It's hard to believe it's happening and it's starting here in the UK. The media have chosen to back the bad guys. It turns out that "Rising Up" is a lot harder than it looks.

Just to clarify, I am not suggesting that Renee is a fascist - nor am I suggesting that all Americans are fascists. But the US is a fascist state - and the US did elect a fascist. At this point, that is - surely - irrefutable fact.

I assure you we as a whole are not.And I was born & raised in Germany. My family definitely would never vote for the felon. I used to be Republican when they still stood for something. And there are so many articles calling out the election. I don't know why Harris didn't fight for us. No recounts?

In the end the math doesn’t lie. He ran on a fascist platform: mass deportation, persecution of minorities & political opponents, tariffs & nothing else. A third of the electorate voted for him & a third sat it out. You’re now beyond the concentration camp phase & troops are on the street…

… &, broadly, you’re citizenry accept it. Elsewhere there would be national strikes, mass demonstrations 24/7, riots, rebellion. I accept that there is a core of Americans who are pro-democracy, but, in the end, Trump achieved what Hitler never did: he won a majority & the popular vote.

There are protests every single day. People are fighting back. But at the same time people have to work, earn a living to feed their families. The courts aren't enforcing their judgements against Trump. I don't know what the answer is.

It's really difficult, & easy to say from a distance, but if you frame it against what might happen, the stakes shift. Personally, on a long enough timeline, this is likely to be a shooting civil war. The only way I can see that being avoided is through mass civil disobedience, national strikes...

...which shut everything down, crash the economy, & make it impossible for the government to function at any level. The problem is, people will go hungry, they'll be mass arrests, acts of brutality, etc. The calculation is - do you *really* believe this can be resolved democratically. &, if...

...not, do you take the pain of civil disobedience, or do you risk the horror of a civil war. But it's very easy for me to say that. It's a lot harder to make that evaluation when you're the one with skin in the game. What is certain, however, is the current protests are not making a dent.

With that said.... Here's my hope. That maga will wake up and get angry at the right people. Some are already seeing the light. My hope is they will be pissed enough to do what they did January 6th. Obviously you will have a minority of people who will always support the felon.

I do know the Democratic leadership could do more. Go on Fox News, news max and get the truth out. Bring the receipts in regards to economy, food prices, job numbers , Epstein list ECT.

She had a well-honed legal machine behind her. The fact that they didn't contest tells me that those #s were so definitive that even turning things here & there wouldn't have mattered. Hillary didn't contest the results either but no one called her out for it so, for me, there's a whiff of racism.

I disagree. I think they didn't want to sound like maga screaming rigged. They wanted to avoid violence. Maga is nuts after all. She had way too many supporters at her rallies. People were excited. I believe she won.

well, you can go ahead & believe she won, but she didn't. It's hard to face the fact that America is the now the bad guy. I grew up in the South during the Civil Rights movement. I've seen evil. It's still present. We have to face that fact or we can't fight against it.

All the redistricting definitely hasn't helped. I remember all the ballots that were found after the 2016 election. So there's definitely fraud going on in every election and it's usually the Republicans. Something needs to give

there were no ballots 'found' after the '16 election. Look, I wish both Hillary & Kamala had won. I also wish Gore had won. But they didn't. Redistricting & gerrymandering do not effect statewide nor presidential elections, so the real problem here is communication. Fox & Co has an iron grip on that

Do some research because there are multiple lawsuits currently going on challenging the election results. Of course it's too late now even with all the lawsuits.

michele collins @michelecollins5411.bsky.social

just because there are lawsuits doesn't mean their claims are valid. We saw it after 2020, Turnip won only one lawsuit out of over 60. Filing lawsuits is easy & should not be viewed as a definitive indication that something was wrong w/ the election as a whole.

michele collins @michelecollins5411.bsky.social

also, the Harris campaign is not a party to any of these lawsuits so, as the contender is the only one with standing, this indicates that these lawsuits have been filed by other candidates in other races.
