Like I said, you are either a useful idiot, or deliberately pushing anti-democrat, & therefore pro-Trump, misinformation. & you pretend to care about Palestinians without knowing pretty basic & fundamental information & whilst refusing to engage in substantive discussion. Jog on, fascist troll.
Thom (@thisthom.bsky.social) reply parent
So basically, you do know little, do nothing to actually help those communities - other than tweeting up a storm. Useful idiot. And you’re blocked.
Thom (@thisthom.bsky.social) reply parent
I want to hear you say it - or admit you don't know. Because either way, you're a Trump shill or a useful idiot.
Thom (@thisthom.bsky.social) reply parent
Aiming that at the wrong fella. Given I work with those communities (in the UK). How about you? 'Cos wind your neck in otherwise.
Thom (@thisthom.bsky.social) reply parent
I know the answer. I'm guessing you do not. So again, average monthly fatality rate between Jan 2024-25, versus since Trump's inauguration? Hint: it's a lot higher.
Thom (@thisthom.bsky.social) reply parent
Really. Because that is not true is it. What was the average fatality rate through Jan 2024 to Jan 2025? And how does it look now? And I wonder, oh I wonder, why you might be so keen to defend Trump.
Thom (@thisthom.bsky.social) reply parent
Lol. Didn't like that, did you - and I bet I know why. So, once again, have things gotten better or worse since Trump's inauguration?
Thom (@thisthom.bsky.social) reply parent
Clever. I actively work with immigrant communities & refugees as part of a NFP. I've done so for a decade. Have things gotten better or worse since Trump's inauguration?
Thom (@thisthom.bsky.social) reply parent
Have a guess - what do you think'd be different? 'Cos I think you do know.

Let me guess, next response: "Please explain it then, and cite your sources." Your handle checks out.
Thom (@thisthom.bsky.social) reply parent
Listen, in the end - it's your democratic right to vote how you wish. Or not at all. You were faced with a clear choice, Harris or Trump. If you didn't vote for Harris, you share a degree of responsibility for Trump. Which, for all I know, you may be fine with. But either way, suck it up & enjoy.
Thom (@thisthom.bsky.social) reply parent
Blocked.
Thom (@thisthom.bsky.social) reply parent
I'm aware. I work with immigrant communities in the UK & international groups - so I'm engaged. I also know that things have deteriorated beyond measure since Trump inauguration. That you refer to Harris as Blue MAGA tells me that you are insincere, not a serious person, &, in part, the problem.

It’s a little weird to demand people vote for a candidate as a necessary lesser evil three years before you even know if they’re going to be the candidate
Thom (@thisthom.bsky.social) reply parent
Like all those people who wouldn’t vote for Harris because they were *so* concerned for the people of Gaza. I’m sure the Palestinians are eternally grateful that those people of principle sat, oh so effectively, on their hands.
Thom (@thisthom.bsky.social) reply parent
Totally agree. It’s also weird for people to say - no chance I’ll ever vote for that guy - three years out. Particularly given, you’ve no idea how bad it might get under this admin.

Thom (@thisthom.bsky.social) reply parent
In the end the math doesn’t lie. He ran on a fascist platform: mass deportation, persecution of minorities & political opponents, tariffs & nothing else. A third of the electorate voted for him & a third sat it out. You’re now beyond the concentration camp phase & troops are on the street…
