For the price they should be nice, and they are, but they are consumer level products in my opinion. I've used them before and they're perfectly fine, just pricey. I think the original poster though is more concerned about the apparent fawning of Tim Apple over Trump.

There isn't any actual fawning here. Tim Cook is just holding his nose and doing his fucking job to save his company from hundreds of billions in idiotic tariffs. He's doing the bare minimum.

Apple is the third most valuable company in the world with a market cap $3.164 trillion. They could fight him if they wanted to, but it would take some personal pride on Tim Apple's part. If Tim Apple has no personal pride why should give him any benefit of the doubt. Fuck him.

I built my own dual boot system so I can natively boot into Ubuntu and the Windows portion is pretty much a gaming rig. We have consumer level products for a reason, building your own machine isn't for everyone.

So in other words you did 15 minutes of assembly using a set of very very easily-assembled parts that others built. I'm sorry. Building a PC is not terribly impressive. Don't pretend you are Edison. That shit is trivially easy these days.

It was about two to three hours, don't pretend your macs aren't built by political prisoners. 😁
