That is an excellent point. I have been writing to my Reps to tell them that they need to draft language limiting the scope of executive orders, making them subject to Congressional approval as well as providing statements for financial, public and environmental impacts before implementation
If they would just stand up and oppose Trump's current illegal and unconstitutional actions, they could make a huge difference. Instead, they allowed him to appoint the most incompetent Cabinet ever.
It’s true and yet apparently the media has reported that even the GOP congress members are uncomfortable with some of the appointees but they are too spineless to oppose him. Frustrating isn’t it?
