Yeah stay TF out of SE you loser prick.
Yeah stay TF out of SE you loser prick.
The advantage of living in Kilburn is all these freaks are so scared of it they stay away.
I fucking love Kilburn. My friend used to let me stay in her flat there.
When I first moved to Queens Park I was told I’d need to buy a stab vest lmao, I was like, this is the safest place I’ve lived in my entire life lol
When I moved to Camberwell someone at a party told me 'good luck'. I was like, yeah it was good luck this place bangs, there's Uighar food.
Is FM Mangal still there, I can still remember the first time I ate their flatbread 🤤 Fuck now I'm getting nostalgic and looking up my old flat on street view
Tbf, the more they convince themselves (and everyone) that Kilburn is basically the thunderdome the longer my rent stays below the Westminster average, so who can say etc etc
Absolutely tickles me that he is afraid of Greenwich and Dulwich though.
Well Greenwich is very close to Deptford, and they have those strange fruits that look like bananas but aren’t there. And as we are learning, bananas are fundamental to his psyche.
Sidcup....
Tbf, apart the parks and occasional art gallery there's not much reason to come to Dulwich
Maida Vale Dr. Janega! Maida Vale! I'm dying here. @annettedittert.bsky.social
Kilburn is now being remodelled as Maida Vale/North Maida Vale. Google Maps has eliminated 'Kilburn'. Bradley Wiggins will be furious.
I’ll be cold and dead in my grave before I accept that I live in West Maida Vale.
"Queens Park borders"
Haha. Property in parts of West London like Kilburn is surprisingly affordable (by 2020s standards).
Kilburn?
I'd be more wary of that infamous Camberwell resident. Boris Johnson.
When I lived in Camberwell someone said it was the murder hotspot of London. I got curious and looked up the actual stats. Virtually all London boroughs had 1 murder the previous year and Camberwell had two. I carried on sleeping at night (this was mid 90s, dunno if murders are more widespread now).
Ffs "murder hotspot" doing some very heavy lifting Like in Ireland when my mate tells me "that's a very rough area to live" "Really?" "Yeah my cousin house-shared there in 1998 and it was mad rough"
So double the murders!!!
200. Hundred. Percent.
aside from race - which i know is what this is about - english people have a weird radar about neighborhoods that I do not share. They pick up very subtle differences in the array of high street shops and declare a neighborhood 'bad' or 'dodgy' and I think it's the same as the next one over
I see that Notting Hill is outside the banana, which makes me think that this map was doodled on in around 1961. Or perhaps neighbourhoods entirely dominated by oligarchs and Tory politicians count as dodgy now? (they should)
Yeah, friend of mine moved to Grimsby and was inundated with "be careful about the druggies!!" shit and its been nicer then anything she dealt with here in Essex lol
I lived in QP for like five years and never had any trouble and this was in 2006
Cricklewood is in the banana and Kilburn isn't which is very funny if you ask me.
Cricklewood’s got that big B&Q, Kilburn can’t compete.
Aren't they getting a massive new HS2 train station as well?
Judging by how HS2 is going, they’ll get it anytime between now and 30 years from now
They'll get it sooner than Dublin gets its metro link to the airport
This map is way off too. Peckham and Camberwell are not in Lewisham?? We are in Southwark.
i heard Kilburn's nice, but it's a bit greasy
Agreed! SE is excellent.
This is it. No notes.
