I miss my city SO MUCH. 💪❤️👍
I miss my city SO MUCH. 💪❤️👍
Did you get to see Bowie IS the first time round? I’m flying home to see it next month, oh and for My Mums 80th 😂 guess where we’ll be going for her birthday? Don’t think I could live there again, but I do love London ❤️ it’s where my heart is
Mate, every day’s a holiday, every night’s a party. It’s a nightmare. Clowns in bikinis everywhere.
I love my city, so tough titties.
That’s what the clown say. Beckenham is red nose central
And yes London is the greatest city on earth.
I have never lived anywhere that wasn't a swampy sauna during the summer, so I don't willingly walk a lot during those months. But, the trade off is the natural fresh water springs in every direction....
As far as I can tell from outside, Sadiq has been good for it
I can tell you from inside, he really has!
🙏
I fell love with the city after my first week there. If they'd have me, I'd move there the moment my youngest kid is out of high school.
It misses you! 🥰
You couldn’t have picked two more polar opposites 😂
London is 10 million things and more. "When a man is tired of London, he is tired of life." — Samuel Johnson
Come home Duncan, I'll buy you a pint of London porter.
I’m trying!
Would you move home? Take all your whanau with you?
Its the mutts nuts 😊
Just come back. (“Ooh I can’t, I’ve got work and stuff…”) 😂
Come home! There's even a restaurant here all about your dad. (Though it's not as cool as it used to be in its old building, sadly.) You'd certainly be safer here than in the US right now.
Aim better.
Fuck you. I love London.
I think i just realized you were being witty. 😅
Witty, yes, just not very.
Where are you based though if not in London?
Los Angeles. 😬 i have to be nice about it. My wife feels about LA the way i feel about my city. 😅
Some of my best friends are Londonoids. Compromise: you live halfway between both, which apparently is Puvirnituq, Canada.
I love to visit but it’s too busy for me to stay permanently, ai’m definitely getting old! Couldn’t actually afford to live in it either of course 😂

👏👏👏🤩🤩
Was there a couple of weeks back. I'm from Lincoln, which is a pretty safe place. I felt as safe in London as I do in Lincoln. Plus a visit to The Globe, Tate, and The Titanique, which was hilarious.
The Titanique is a new one on me! Just looked it up! 😂
Very camp😁 Deffo go and see it.
My wife is a Londoner and she's excited about going back this weekend. She lived there her entire life but she still gets giddy about going back even though she knows it inside out. I'm excited about going too, but I think that's more to do with the ALIEN Earth stand at the history museum.
Me too, lived there my whole life til last year. It's amazing in so many brilliant ways. It will always be my home ❤️

London's my city too. Took the wife and kids there in February for the first time, they loved it. But it's really expensive.
Where do you live? I used to think California was so cheap when I moved here, but last time I went home to London it seemed so cheap in comparison (not talking housing just everything else)
Everything is gonna feel expensive to Americans traveling abroad right now. Dollar value has fallen by 10% in last 6 months. 😬
Yep, I keep tabs on French and Danish homes for sale. It's noticeable now.
Are travelling Americans worried about being let back in?
I doubt it. Not yet. The first worries will be when the courts start testing the viability of Trump pulling birthright citizenship from American citizens. Then a whole new chaos rears its head.
I noticed that just yesterday on dual-priced clothes tickets yesterday. An item which was say £29.99 was $59.99.
Worth it to be in countries that aren't fascist yet.
Apparently there is a house price spike as many Americans are purchasing homes abroad.
Although I greatly enjoyed living in Europe (and would again) I'd rather die destroying fascism here than flee and leave others to suffer a fate I escaped. That said I can't blame those who do choose to leave.
wait til we start spitting on you…lol
Start?

USD still good against Canadian dollar, as usual.
I’m Canadian and I always look at it the other way around. $1 CAD is currently $0.72 USD, and it’s been around there with the occasional small jump for a very long time.
I live quite near Mick Jagger's little chateau.
The best costs.
You can take the girl/boy out of London, but you can't take being a Londoner out of 'em! ❤️ My City too, I live in Bradford in beautiful Yorkshire now and love it here, but still get thrilled by the occasional trip back 'home'
Counter-point: Berlin. Where a beer won't cost you a tenner and you can have a day out without bankrupting yourself.
Great, but I’m from London, and that’s my city.
London is my city too - and I want to get to know Berlin. Looking forward to retiring in October and enjoying both!
Berlins great. Lived there a few times.
Sorry didn't mean to derail the thread. 😅
Im from California and I'm stuck in Boston! Pasadena and cannot move home!
