There are loads of good ones in social democracies that seem to have a pretty good balance between desire to work for personal attainment and social responsibility and welfare. We just have to be willing to learn from them.

It’s expensive, but second hand are coming in to the market now, and they have a cheaper variant that looks very good coming out soon.
Most new EVs, including my 3 year old Rivian, can fast charge and get about 65 miles in 10 minutes at a fast charger. That with the 300 mile range upfront for the occasional long trip should be good for most people… unless you’re trying to retrace the Oregon trail every weekend! 😅
EV charging is already pretty good, and i think gas drivers may not get how small the difference in experience really is if you get used to hone charging and then a brief sip and go for the occasional long trip.
