He's such a disappointment. Rebels need to look at what @garyseconomics.bsky.social is proposing with the wealth tax, find a way to fund a team of tax experts to work out how to implement it, and build a plan for making that the spearhead of Labour politics for the coming years.

People want simple solutions to complex problems, which is what Reform is doing, saying "Immigration is the problem!" I like what @garyseconomics.bsky.social is proposing, because its a simple solution that will actually WORK. THAT should be Labour policy. Make THAT the mantra to get behind.
In the german speaking sphere we have Marlene Engelhorn from Austria(no inheritance tax) who inherited double digit millions from her family. She donated 90% to a group of 50 regular people across Austria who should decide where to put this money at work for society. She supports tax the rich.

I am all for wealth taxes, property taxes and a possible move away from income tax and I hope Labour look down this avenue.
Labour should be more than one mediocre white man. They must have some actual liberals remaining... shouldn't they?
They all seem to be toeing the party line. Starmer has moved the party to the right. Become more centrist than left leaning. Time will tell if this is temporary.
