I think you just solved it. Just phrase the humor in your own words. Take that damned prompt back and offer it in your own words. Seems only fair. (I now have a human-generated image of this toy soldiers spreading mulch and loving it.

I think that’s a funny idea that doesn’t need the AI to work. There’s lots of other ways to communicate it. I’m always disappointed if a good gag is given to AI to tell.

Yeah, there are artists and satirists out there doing the work already, wielding ink or words, to criticize or highlight the absurdity.

Also sometimes I don’t share the gags I want to sketch or draw because I worry some well-meaning person or clout chaser will be like, “oh, fun idea, I’ll just whip that up, shall I?” and then they get thousands of likes and reshares while my original gets a dozen or so AND gets perceived as the copy

Similarly @scalzi.com made a joke abt a photo of him and me and a few other folks immediately broke out our photoshops to bring his joke to life. (But at least one person used AI & I felt it wasn’t in the spirit. I went around liking EVERYBODY’S attempt except theirs. Bc petty.)
