If you want my definition, a leftist is just an anarchist who postures under the veneer of liberal values, while supporting illiberal movements and ideologies. I didn’t start using this phase, until people began reacting furiously when they were called “liberals” and demanded a distinction be made.

Can guarantee you that the term "liberal" has existed for longer than the term "leftist", or before anyone used the term as an insult. But I'm happy for you to agree that the term "leftist" means nothing.
