Trying to stay out of the line of fire.

Proud of Chemerinsky and my law school but it’s a shame that very few other big law schools skipped it.

Law school advertises advocacy but trains compliance. People willing to go into debt $150k are not motivated to stick their necks out. Law firms take compliance and make it a prerequisite for partner. You can’t get $$$ w/o sucking up to $$$.

Also no John Yoo signature, super weird

@kairyssdal.bsky.social I agree with you, and I am happy my alma mater is a signatory, but the Ivy League is noticeably absent along with Chicago, Northwestern, Duke, UVa, etc... I am reminded of the old saying that we should hang together, or most assuredly, we will hang separately.

Mine is, so I'm happy for that. And I'd forgotten that my crim law professor is now dean.

Probably more a feature, not a bug. Those with the strongest ties to government positions, more interested in keeping their privileged position than anything else.

Penn is there (it’s Carey School of Law, which is dumb, but that’s what $$$$$ gets ya)

The Carey I see listed is University of Maryland’s Law School

Pleased my school Boston College is there but steamed about those too cowardly to act.
