This is a temporary bump. I sold all my IRA stock holdings 1 min before close today. Went into gold, yen, commodity ETF, and the rest into a 1 month CD at 4.2% annual. The volatility is not over. There are still 25%-104% tariffs on our largest trading partners

I am sure this is a good strategy. I sat on my hands. Now I am wondering if I am in a sunk-loss fallacy as my IRA has lost so much since February.

I'm down about 14% since high in February. Up more than 10% over 1y. But markets are not going to be stable under this guy and I think we're still bound for recession at this point. And if the bond market falls more, the troubles will have only begun.
