If the US tries to seize Canada, they'll defeat us militarily in a week or two, but will as long as they're here, Americans will die when they venture outside their bases and fortified compounds. Iraq will look like a cakewalk by the time the US runs away again.

It wouldn't take weeks, some of our states have more soldiers than the entire Ca military and our entire military is parked within a day's drive of Ca. Though, if weapons came out, they would all almost certainly be aimed at ourselves and it would divide the nation as well as our military.

Actually it would be more like Afghanistan. We have a very well armed populace especially in the North. Our terrain is heavily forested and mountainous. Winters are harsh and punishing. We have loyalty with other nations. The smart US citizens would hopefully desert to our side. Civil war pt 2.
