I suspect that most people on Boll-X will find their way over here eventually. When I've popped back to see whats going on the atmosphere seems alarmingly toxic.
It's like changing trains, but you are now on the northern line. It's safe to talk to people without being seen as weird. Of course it's slower & breaks down. But better to chat hopefully than to arrive. We don't have trains here. But as a mancunian I chat to all & sundrey, a cultural imperitive.

The greatest concept of moving over here is this: I find more peace within myself and develop a greater awareness when surrounded by creative 'Lollipops' for my own artistic style to elevate and inspire. Loving the idea that's just sprung to mind - composing "The Walnut Lollipop"- a ragtime/ballet.

Make a list of some of your faves. Check it out every time you come on. Everything they have posted should be on there. 👍
It's because Bluesky has a chronological rather than algorithmic feed. Lists are the answer. Alternatively, one of the custom feeds such as "popular with friends".
There are no algorithms here. You have to create your own feeds/lists. Takes a bit of doing. But also no ads!!! Love it here.
Make a list of your favourite accounts & pin it to your home page. Then all your faves appear in one feed & you shouldn't miss anything..

I found the more I used it here, the better it got. The moderation is great. Look at the convos we've had on here today.. No trolls or bots, nothing. It's refreshing.

BSky just needs to grow the numbers. It sort of goes in fits and starts. What I miss from Twitter is the immediacy of news. If something happens it always appeared first on Twitter, and you could watch the news as it developed.
This, and being able to tweet companies/organisations and getting a quick response to your query/complaint because they don’t want the bad PR.
Yes. That would be a bit of a game-changer if more businesses moved their presence here. Hopefully Musk's latest drug-addled rants might help persuade them.

I’ve switched & follow you. Well, when I say “I’ve switched”, I still look at X to see what horrendous racist, divisive & downright dangerous crap is being tweeted.
I’m struggling on here to be honest but every time I got to the other place it’s too depressing to engage so I haven’t posted for a while. I need to persevere with here and people like you Reece keep me on board. Glad you’re enjoying it. I will try harder 😬😂

People actually disagree with each other politely here (mostly), which is so refreshing and means I'm more ready to engage. I've left Twitter for good now, and I feel much cleaner for it 😇.
